"You are the best thing that's ever happened to me." He was sorry that he'd put HER in an impossible position. Who did he think he was kidding, anyway? None of this was fair to her. If he'd been upfront with her from the beginning, she wouldn't be here now, stuck like this. She could have made the decision to walk away, and then she would still be in her world, with her friends and family, instead of here with only him and Gideon and Kobie. He'd deceived her into loving him, and now they were both paying the price.
