"I would not say that the gunshot was an attempt to inflict damage. Given the trajectory of the gunshot, and the position of the individuals as delineated by their track marks in the driveway, I would have to say it was more of a warning. Whatever Kitt stumbled across, someone did not wish for him to know it, or perhaps to share it. If they truly wished harm upon him, they would not have left. I believe the location is secure for now."
